I love a dress that does the work for you, and the ruching here is so flattering — it hugs and sculpts without clinging to anything you don't want it to. The shimmer is high-impact but tasteful, and because it's woven into the textile, it won't flake off like glitter dresses do. It runs small with a little stretch, so I'd size up, especially if you're curvier through the bust or hips. I'm 5'2" with a 36D bust and wore the large. Strappy heels or metallic sandals, silver hoops, and a small sparkly clutch. Soft waves and a glossy or bold-red lip. Add a cropped jacket for cooler nights.
